22nd AEME Events Management Educators Forum
The Association for Events Management Education (AEME) is delighted to announce that the 22nd AEME Events Management Educators Forum will be hosted by the University of Greenwich in July 2026.
AEME Forum 2026 hosted by Greenwich Business School, University of Greenwich, 7th – 9th July 2026
Events for a Changing World: Responsibility, Equity, and Impact
In a moment shaped by climate pressure, rapid technological change, widening inequalities, and shifting public trust, events become mirrors and makers. They reveal what we value, who we include, and what kinds of futures we’re willing to stage, fund, and live with. The AEME Forum 2026 will be hosted at Greenwich Business School, University of Greenwich, London, from 7th–9th July 2026, under the theme “Events for a Changing World: Responsibility, Equity, and Impact”. We invite conceptual, empirical, critical, and practice-based contributions that take events seriously as sites of responsibility and contestation, as well as spaces for imagination and meaningful impact. In particular, the Forum welcomes work that critically engages with events education, its pedagogies, curricula, institutional contexts, and partnerships as a key lever for shaping ethical practice, inclusive futures, and socially responsive event professionals in an uncertain world.
Registration and a call for abstracts for the forum will be launched on the AEME website in January 2026.
