8th AEME Forum scheduled with Global Events Congress IV for 2010 PDF Print E-mail
Written by Admin

The Association of Events Management Education (AEME) is pleased to announce that the 8th AEME Events Management Educators Forum will be hosted by the UK Centre for Events Management at Leeds Metropolitan University alongside the Global Events Congress IV: Festivals & Events Research: State of the Art in July 2010.  The intention is to organise the events in such a way that delegates will be able to attend both conferences and will benefit from cheaper combined costs.

Chair of AEME and Head of the UK Centre for Events Management Glenn Bowdin said, "The Global Events Congress IV presents an opportunity for the international events research, professional and academic communities to share research, education and best practice and to network.  The 8th AEME Events Management Educators Forum will take forward AEME's vision of bringing together educators and industry professionals within a State of the Art conference which aims to advance theory, policy and practice.  By combining conferences it presents AEME members with an opportunity to share best practice in events management education and research with a wider international community - AEME members agreed at the AGM in June 2009 that this presented an opportunity not to be missed."

The Global Events Congress IV and 8th AEME Events Management Educators Forum will take place in Leeds from 14-16th July 2010.  For further information please visit the conference website at: http://www.eventsandfestivalsresearch.com/congress2010
